Sectors · Dental practices and chains

Dental chains with booking, recall and images shared across every practice.

We connect the systems a dental chain already runs and build what the practice management system lacks. Booking, recall, treatment plans and financing reach the patient without retyping. CBCT (cone beam CT), panoramic and intraoral scan data open at every site.

The patient path

A patient's path from booking to the next recall.

01

Booking

The patient phones or fills in a form, and the front desk looks for a free chair in the right practice.

ImprovementOnline booking shows free chairs in every practice, so the front desk spends less time on the phone.

02

Before the first visit

Patients fill in the medical history and consent on paper in the waiting room, and staff type the answers into the practice system.

ImprovementPatients answer online at home, and the answers go straight into the practice system.

03

Imaging

Panoramic, CBCT and intraoral images are taken on devices that each come with their own software. Images travel between sites on USB sticks or by email.

ImprovementA shared archive for the chain, so every image opens in a web viewer at every site.

04

Treatment plan

The dentist explains the phases, options and costs in the chair, and the patient leaves with a printout. Nobody follows up an open plan.

ImprovementThe plan goes to the patient portal, and an open plan gets reminders until it is accepted or closed.

05

Financing

The patient fills in a separate form for the financing company, and the same data is entered twice.

ImprovementThe plan is connected to the financing provider, so the patient data is entered only once.

06

Laboratory

Scans and the prescription go to the dental laboratory by email, and the laboratory asks which case a scan belongs to.

ImprovementThe laboratory order carries the scans and the prescription, linked to the right case.

07

Recall

Hygiene and check up dates are in the record. The front desk phones each patient when it has time.

ImprovementReminders go out by SMS, email or app with a booking link, without a phone call.

The goal

More patients treated with the team you have.

For the chain

  • Chairs filled from one booking across all practices
  • Treatment plans followed up until they are accepted or closed
  • A new practice joins the booking, recall and archive already in place

For dentists and the front desk

  • Recalls without a phone call to every patient
  • No retyping between forms and the practice system
  • Every image opens at every site

For patients

  • Booking at any hour, in any of the practices
  • The treatment plan at home, with its phases, options and costs
  • One record, whichever practice they visit
Problems and solutions

What we hear, and what we do about it.

The front desk cannot see free chairs in the other practices.

One online booking covers every practice, every chair and the specialists who move between sites. It reads the free slots from the practice management system and, where the system accepts it, writes the appointment back into the same calendar.

Digitalisation and workflow automation
Recall works only when the front desk has time to phone.

Hygiene and check up recalls run from the due dates in the record. The reminder goes by SMS, email or app with a booking link, and the patient's response returns to the record.

Digitalisation and workflow automation
Treatment plans are explained in the chair and then nobody follows up.

The plan goes to the patient portal with its phases, alternatives and costs. The patient accepts it with an electronic signature, and an open plan gets reminders until it is accepted or closed.

Digitalisation and workflow automation
Financing is a separate form with a separate company.

We connect the plan to the financing provider you work with through its API. The amount and the patient data pass once, and the status returns to the plan. The credit decision stays with the provider.

Interoperability
A CBCT taken in one practice cannot be opened in another.

We set up a shared DICOM (the standard for medical images and their exchange) archive for the chain and a web viewer at every site. Where dentists read images for diagnosis in the viewer, it has to be a CE marked viewer, or software placed on the market as a medical device under the MDR. Devices send their images over DICOM, and a vendor format is converted at import. Treatment plans, consents and imaging reports belong to one record that every site can open.

Medical imaging software
We are afraid of a project that never ends.

Each step is a separate contract with a written result. The first one can be online booking at a single practice.

How we work
We do not want to be tied to one supplier.

We build around the practice management system you run, over open interfaces. Your IT team gets the interface specifications and written instructions for running and fixing each connection.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

01

Can you connect online booking to our practice management system?

Yes, where the system offers an interface or an export and the licence allows its use. We read the interface documentation and state the effort before the contract. The booking then writes into the same calendar the front desk uses.

02

Do you sell a dental practice management system?

No. We build around the system you run and add what it lacks. When you replace it, we write the requirements and score the vendors. We resell no product, so the comparison is vendor neutral.

03

Can patients accept treatment plans online?

Yes. The patient sees the plan with its phases, costs and options in the portal, asks questions, and accepts with an electronic signature. The signed version is stored with the plan, and an open plan gets reminders.

04

Can you connect a patient financing provider?

Yes, through the provider's API. The plan amount and the patient data pass with the patient's consent, and the status returns to the plan. The provider makes the credit decision.

05

Can all our practices share CBCT and X-ray images?

Yes. A shared DICOM archive with a web viewer lets every site open every image, with access by role and a log of who opened what. Images from devices that store only a vendor format are converted at import through the vendor's export where the licence allows it, and checked against the original for pixel spacing and patient data.

06

How is patient data protected during the project?

Patient data stays in your systems and we work on it there. Anything that has to leave, for example a test data set, is pseudonymised, stays in the EU and is covered by a data processing agreement, with Silurus Software as processor. We prepare the data protection impact assessment with your data protection officer. In the US, the same work runs under HIPAA and a business associate agreement.

07

What does a first project cost, and how fast can it start?

The first call is free. Each step after it is quoted individually, with scope, deliverable, duration and price agreed in writing. We reply within one business day, and a project can start within two to three weeks of signature.
