Type Full-time · Senior
Industry MedTech

We're looking for a SW/HW Systems Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team. You will integrate software and hardware across the product lifecycle of complex medical devices, contributing to new and existing products while ensuring system-level changes are executed cleanly.

Who we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of systems engineering experience; MedTech sector is a plus
  • Confident SAP knowledge
  • Windows ecosystem: deployment automation (MDT / SCCM), standardized images (WIM), licensing models (COA, OEM, Volume Licensing) and matching them to the right hardware and software
  • Confident PowerShell scripting; running stable backend systems, monitoring data flow, security compliance
  • Systems thinking: you see how a software update affects whole-system behaviour

Responsibilities

  • BOM management. Coordinate and execute product-linked changes; structure and maintain software and hardware items in product BOMs.
  • Configuration control. Manage software and hardware compatibility; ensure the correct software package goes with the right hardware; track license keys (COA / OEM) in SAP.
  • Technical troubleshooting. Investigate software anomalies in hardware environments — for example imaging faults on the assembly line or during testing.
  • Automation. Write and maintain PowerShell scripts that support deployment processes (MDT / SCCM) and automated configuration checks.
  • Change management. Review and execute engineering change requests; run new software versions end-to-end through the process.
  • Collaboration. Work closely with domestic and international development teams and project stakeholders.
  • Testing. Define and run engineering tests in a lab environment.

Nice to have

  • Software development, embedded software, or DevOps background
  • Experience in a multinational environment

  • Premium private health insurance. Annual screening and high-quality care nationwide, for every employee.
  • International environment. Daily collaboration in English with American, Swiss, German and Finnish counterparts.
  • Training and conferences. Internal and external training, funded conferences, study groups, and time set aside for the deep papers.
  • Annual bonus. Tied to company and team performance.
